Bright Paths Recovery
More About Jimmy
Jimmy Aiello is a group facilitator at Bright Paths Recovery whose work is grounded in one of the most compelling recovery stories in the field. After a 42-year struggle with methamphetamine addiction that included 14 years of homelessness, Jimmy entered sober living at the age of 60 with a willingness to change that would reshape the rest of his life. He went on to become a house manager, a group facilitator, and the owner and operator of a seven-bedroom sober living home that he ran for nine years.
Committed to continued growth, Jimmy returned to college at 65 and earned multiple degrees by 68, including completing his California Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification requirements, with his state examination pending. At Bright Paths Recovery, Jimmy leads groups with the honesty, authenticity, and hard-won perspective that only lived experience can provide, offering clients living proof that transformation is possible at any stage of life.
