Confidential Luxury Treatment in Los Angeles
Executive addiction has a signature: it performs. The numbers stay green, the meetings stay sharp, and the drinking or the pills migrate to the edges where nobody with authority ever looks, the hotel room after the roadshow, the 5 a.m. flight, the third screen at midnight. County data shows working-age adults 45 to 64 carrying the largest share of Los Angeles County’s 153,276 alcohol and drug related emergency visits in 2024, and executives are overrepresented in the private version of that statistic that never reaches a public dashboard.
The trap is arithmetic: the more valuable your time, the more treatment looks unaffordable, when the true math runs the other way. An impaired decision at your level is priced in millions, and according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, untreated alcohol problems compound in exactly the way bad debt does (NIAAA). The cost of not going is the only line item that grows every quarter you defer it.
Board members, investors, competitors, and the press all have reasons to wonder where you are for five weeks, which is why our discretion is structural rather than promised. The home is an unmarked residence with a census of twelve; there is no campus, no lobby, and no valet line of luxury SUVs announcing a treatment center. Your records carry federal protection under 42 CFR Part 2, which is stricter than ordinary medical privacy and does not yield to a curious HR department or an ambitious rival. What the outside world observes is a leader taking medical leave, a sentence that modern governance treats as routine.
The delegation anxiety is real, so we treat it as part of admissions rather than an obstacle to it. Before you arrive, our team helps you think through the mechanics: what gets delegated and to whom, what stays with you on a bounded schedule, what the calendar says, and what the two-sentence medical-leave message tells the board, which is nothing it is not entitled to. Because you keep your phone and laptop, the decisions that genuinely cannot move without you do not have to; our clinical team builds a communication window into your day so treatment leads and the company still gets what it needs.
Executives consistently report the same discovery around week two: the org chart held. The company that could not survive a month without them was, in fact, designed by them well enough to do exactly that. That discovery is not a bruise to the ego; it is the first honest measure of what they built.

The number one question professionals ask us, before cost, before length of stay, is whether treatment means going dark. Here it does not. Clients keep their phones and laptops at Bright Paths Recovery. The clinical day comes first and we help you set boundaries that protect it, but you stay appropriately connected to the people and responsibilities that need you. Same-day admissions mean the decision and the arrival can share a date, a stay runs about 35 days, and if you are weighing time away from work, federal job-protection rules may apply: our plain-language guide to FMLA and rehab covers what most employees never get told.
For executives, the program’s structure reads familiar on arrival: a scheduled day, measurable work, and a team that reports honestly. The clinical spine is one continuum in one home: medically supervised detox with 24/7 physician oversight and short-term, non-maintenance medication support, then residential inpatient treatment structured around daily clinical groups, one-on-one therapy, CBT, DBT, motivational enhancement, and relapse prevention, and after discharge, an alumni network with weekly proactive check-ins. Most stays run 28 to 40 days, about 35 typically. Our stated goal is to see every client only one time.
Twelve beds in a fully remodeled private residence: a private chef cooking restaurant-grade meals daily, a gym with boxing and cardio equipment, a basketball court, a green grounding area, streaming in every room, three stocked kitchens, and a private therapy room. Weekend outings, the ocean, museums, escape rooms, put recovery into practice in the real world. It photographs like a home because it is one.
Three things, and amenities are the least of them. Privacy that survives scrutiny: an unmarked 12-bed home rather than a known facility. Continuity: a device policy and communication plan that keep the enterprise stable while you are treated. And clinical seriousness: physician-led detox and doctoral-level clinical leadership, because executives do not respect programs that would not survive their own due diligence.
Almost always as medical leave, which is precisely what it is. Federal confidentiality law keeps the nature of treatment out of reach of employers, and our team helps you script the internal messaging before you admit. Most boards have processed a leave for cardiac surgery without ceremony; this is no different, and you are not obligated to make it different.
Executive-tier PPO plans almost always carry out-of-network benefits, and those benefits typically cover a substantial share of detox and residential care. Our admissions team runs a free verification against your specific plan, usually within hours, and gives you the real number before anyone commits to anything. We do not accept Medicaid.
If you sit close to an executive whose edge has turned into erosion, you are holding a genuinely hard problem: raise it wrong and they entrench, wait too long and the company absorbs the damage. What works, in our experience, is arriving with logistics instead of accusations: a program identified, benefits quietly verified, an absence plan sketched, and a same-day admission available so the conversation and the solution happen in the same breath.
Our admissions team builds that package with spouses, co-founders, and board members regularly, confidentially, and before the executive ever knows the call was made. Precision is a language executives respect; bring them a plan, not an intervention scene.

Bright Paths Recovery works with most PPO and out-of-network benefits, and our admissions team verifies your coverage for you, free and with no obligation. You will know what your plan covers before you make any decision. We do not accept Medicaid.
Intimate, never institutional.
24/7 oversight from day one.
When the window opens, we move.
Weekly check-ins long after you leave.
You can steward it. The clinical day comes first, and our team builds a bounded communication window around it, typically enough for the decisions only you can make and a daily touch with your delegate. Clients have closed funding rounds and quarter-ends from here. What you cannot do is use treatment as a remote office; the structure exists to make sure the stay works.
A maximum of eleven other adults, many of them professionals navigating the same calculus you are. The small census is deliberate: it is the difference between a peer group and a crowd, and it is why executives who feared group work here end up naming it the most valuable hour of the day.
It is designed for you specifically. The window in which an executive admits the problem and accepts help is famously short; our pre-assessment happens by phone, benefits verify within hours, and the bed is made the same evening. The calendar excuse dies at intake.
Your communication plan flexes with clinical sign-off. A genuine corporate emergency gets handled; a manufactured one gets named for what it is, which is often the more valuable clinical event. Learning which is which is, frankly, part of the treatment.
Like a client, in a home built to a standard you will recognize. Private chef, gym, quiet rooms, and a clinical team that is unimpressed by titles and deeply invested in outcomes. The founder’s instruction to our team is blunt: integrity first, always.
Yes, and for executives they usually arrive together: alcohol to come down, stimulants to perform. Detox protocols are physician-directed for the combination, and the residential work addresses the performance economics that built the cycle.
Every client in the home is bound by the same federal confidentiality protections you are, and the census is twelve. In practice, the room holds people with equally expensive reputations; mutual stakes are the strongest NDA ever written.
A private app that keeps you connected to the team and your cohort from any city, a weekly alumni call you can join from a hotel room, and proactive weekly check-ins where we reach out the moment your pattern looks off. Recovery infrastructure that travels is the only kind that survives an executive calendar.
